Eligibility Criteria

Age

• Maximum age: 55 years

Qualification

• The candidate must be a qualified chartered fellow.
• Fellow Cost and Management Accountant (FCMA) or Chartered Accountant (FCA).

Experience

• 15 years of relevant experience after qualification in a senior financial management role, ideally for three years
• Work, tax, and corporate expertise in the public or corporate sector.
  Local laws in Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Pakistan.
• Experience preparing and approving PC-I, PC-II, PC-Ill, and PC-IV applications;
• hands-on process experience and
• understanding of approval of applications for electricity rates; NEPA and Power Purchase Negotiations Agreements;
• knowledge of Public Procurement Rules and Treasury administration;
• Familiarize yourself with the setup of ERP systems.

Tenure

The appointment will be on a contract basis for three years, including a six-month probationary term, and may be extended based on the employee’s performance and the needs of the business.

Pay Package

• As per competitive market-based lump-sum salary package

Mandatory Duties

• In charge of budgetary control, cost and taxation, and supporting tactical activities in addition to overall financial planning and reporting.
• Raise more money as needed to help the business achieve its goals.
• Supervise and oversee the strategic financial plan’s execution.
• Create financial performance metrics that align with the project’s strategic orientation.
• Ensuring effective internal control, and proper reporting within the parameters of International Accounting and Auditing Standards.
• Identify and reduce the main financial risks facing the organization.
• Ensure that company operations meet all financial, legal, and regulatory obligations.
• Efficient handling of finances and cash projections.
• Closely collaborate with the company’s outside auditors to prepare the tax returns and annual audit.
• Arrange and rank the conflicting demands and tasks in order of priority.
• Embrace best-in-class corporate accounting and finance systems while managing change.
• Comply with government and auditor record-keeping standards.
• • Good correspondence with donors of money.
