Punjab Police advertised New Jobs for senior station assistants (SSA) and police station assistants (PSA).

Punjab Police has invited applications from candidates for the recruitment of Senior Station Assistant (SSA) Equivalent Scale No. Nine and Police Station Assistant (PSA) Equivalent Scale No. Seven (These allowances are currently temporary but will be made permanent later.) posts in various districts.

Applications can be submitted from the date of publication of the advertisement until March 25, 2024.

No application will be entertained after the prescribed procedure.

• a computer certificate in MS Office from a recognized institution.

Typing speed:

• English: 35 words per minute
• Urdu: 25 words per minute

How to Download Application Form

• Aspirants can download the application form from the official website (Download Form) of the Punjab Police, and after filling it out, it can be submitted to the concerned district police line along with all their attested credentials.
• An entry test fee of Rs. 2000 should be submitted along with the application.

Instructions for Candidates

• After verification of the documents of all the candidates, the list of successful candidates will be uploaded to the website of the Punjab Police in the District Police Line, Owaza, and Paddy.
• The Punjab Police website and the local district police line have all the details you need to know about the exam location and recruitment schedule.
• Candidates belonging to District Murree, Tala King, Kot Addu, and Wazirabad can submit applications only from the district police lines of their erstwhile districts, Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Muzaffargarh, and Gujranwala.
• Government and semi-government employees will submit departmental NOCs.
• PSA candidates will initially be given a written test, and the successful candidates will be given a skill test (typing test) in the next stage. Out of which, the passed candidates will be called for interviews in a ratio of 3:1. A notice will be posted on the concerned police line about the skills test and interview venue.
• Candidates can check their typing speed by downloading www.fast-typing.com for typing test preparation, as English and Urdu typing tests are required.
• Candidates who want to take additional marks based on family claims. (Disabled, Retired, Present Service) They will attach all the documents related to their claim, like a copy of the pension book retirement order and a certificate obtained from the concerned district and unit head, along with the application.
• All candidates must also give an affidavit (stamp paper) stating that they are not involved in any kind of FIR or any case. In the event of submitting a false affidavit, the candidate will be declared ineligible for police recruitment, and action will be taken against him.
• If, at any stage during the verification of the candidate’s educational credentials, domicile, national identity card, or medical certificate, the documents are found to be unverified, the candidate’s application will be considered and action will be taken against us.
• Any expenses incurred by the candidate at various stages of recruitment will not be reimbursed.
• At the time of final selection, the candidates will undergo a medical examination from the provincially authorized hospital; in the event of failure, the candidate will be declared ineligible.
• The department will have the power to partially cancel the advertisement. The Lease Department shall have the right to reject any candidate without assigning any reason.
• The approval of the advertisement was issued by the Provincial Cabinet of Punjab and the Election Commission of Pakistan.

Allocated Quota

• 15% quota is reserved for women, 5% quota for female candidates, and 3% quota for persons with disabilities.
